# Driving

> Data related to driving the vehicle

<h2 id="accelerator-pedal-position">
  accelerator\_pedal\_position
</h2>

Accelerator Pedal Position

* Description: position of the accelerator pedal
* Format: numeric
* Unit: %
* Decimal places: 2
  * The data processed by mobway will always have at most 2 decimal places. However, the precision of the original data depends on the automaker. The data will have fewer than 2 decimal places when it ends in 0 due to the automatic formatting of the float format
* Range: 0 to 100%
  * The accelerator pedal position range was defined based on the limit values by definition
  * Data outside this range is considered erroneous
  * The value is replaced with a null value
  * A flag is generated indicating the error and the original value, in the following format:

* Missing data
  * A flag is generated indicating that the original data was missing, in the following format:

  longitudinal\_acceleration
</h2>

Longitudinal Acceleration

* Description: longitudinal acceleration of the vehicle, signed (positive or negative) as sent by the automaker
* Format: numeric
* Unit: m/s²
* Decimal places: 2
  * The data processed by mobway will always have at most 2 decimal places. However, the precision of the original data depends on the automaker. The data will have fewer than 2 decimal places when it ends in 0 due to the automatic formatting of the float format
* Range: -100 to 100 m/s²
  * The longitudinal acceleration range was defined based on the maximum value that vehicles connected to mobway can reach, including a safety margin
  * Data outside this range is considered erroneous
  * The value is replaced with a null value
  * A flag is generated indicating the error and the original value, in the following format:

* Missing data
  * A flag is generated indicating that the original data was missing, in the following format:

  lateral\_acceleration

Lateral Acceleration

* Description: lateral acceleration of the vehicle, signed (positive or negative) as sent by the automaker
* Format: numeric
* Unit: m/s²
* Decimal places: 2
  * The data processed by mobway will always have at most 2 decimal places. However, the precision of the original data depends on the automaker. The data will have fewer than 2 decimal places when it ends in 0 due to the automatic formatting of the float format
* Range: -100 to 100 m/s²
  * The lateral acceleration range was defined based on the maximum value that vehicles connected to mobway can reach, including a safety margin
  * Data outside this range is considered erroneous
  * The value is replaced with a null value
  * A flag is generated indicating the error and the original value, in the following format:
